    Šis vadovas padės Honeywell PC42E-T arba PC42E-D nuo išpakavimo iki pirmosios išspausdintos etiketės. Abu modeliai yra 4 colių stalinio tipo spausdintuvai su standartiniais USB ir Ethernet prievadais. PC42E-T spausdina su juostele (terminis pernešimas) arba be jos (tiesioginis terminis spausdinimas). PC42E-D – naujesnis tiesioginio terminio spausdinimo modelis su didesniu valdymo skydeliu; juostelės jis niekada nenaudoja.

    Patikrinkite, ar dėžėje yra spausdintuvas, USB kabelis ir maitinimo šaltinis. Honeywell PC42E-D duomenų lape dar nurodytas trumpasis vadovas ir atitikties lapelis. Ar pridedamas maitinimo laidas, priklauso nuo versijos. Etiketės ir juostelė į komplektą neįeina.

    Susipažinkite su valdikliais

    • PC42E-T: vienas mygtukas Print, vienas mygtukas ECO ir viena Status lemputė.
    • PC42E-D: valdymo skydelis su mygtukais Print/Feed, ECO, Pause ir Cancel, Status lempute bei Supplies, Pause ir Network indikatoriais.

    Abiejų spausdintuvų gale yra maitinimo jungiklis, maitinimo lizdas, USB įrenginio prievadas (kompiuteriui), USB pagrindinio įrenginio prievadas (USB atmintukui, klaviatūrai ar skaitytuvui), Ethernet prievadas ir išorinis medžiagos tiekimo plyšys. PC42E-D dar turi nuoseklųjį prievadą. PC42E-T nuoseklųjį ryšį gali naudoti su „Honeywell“ USB–nuosekliojo prievado kabeliu.

Wi-Fi ir Bluetooth abiem modeliams yra pasirenkamas modulis, į spausdintuvą jie neintegruoti.

    Šie žingsniai parengti pagal PC42E-T naudotojo vadovą. PC42E-D turi tas pačias dalis (medžiagos laikiklį su fiksavimo liežuvėliu, trijų padėčių medžiagos jutiklį, prispaudimo velenėlį ir nuplėšimo juostą); įdėjimo žingsniai paveikslėliais parodyti jo trumpajame vadove.

    1. Paspauskite dangčio fiksatorius abiejose pusėse ir atidarykite dangtį iki galo, kad jis neužkristų.
    2. Pakelkite kairiojo medžiagos laikiklio fiksatorių ir praskėskite laikiklius.
    3. Įdėkite ritinį tarp laikiklių, priglauskite laikiklius prie ritinio ir nuspauskite fiksavimo liežuvėlį. Spausdinamoji pusė turi būti nukreipta į spausdinimo galvutę.
    4. Paspauskite abu fiksavimo mygtukus, kad atidarytumėte spausdinimo ir juostelės mechanizmą.
    5. Pastumkite medžiagos jutiklio vidurinį liežuvėlį į padėtį pagal savo medžiagą: juoda žymė, tarpas arba audinio etiketės ir kita medžiaga.
    6. Prakiškite etiketes po spausdinimo ir juostelės mechanizmu ir išveskite pro priekį. Sureguliuokite medžiagos laikiklius pagal etiketės plotį, kad etiketės gulėtų lygiai.
    7. Jei PC42E-T spausdinate ant terminio pernešimo etikečių, dabar įdėkite juostelę (kitas žingsnis). Kitu atveju nuleiskite spausdinimo ir juostelės mechanizmą ir spauskite žemyn, kol abu fiksavimo liežuvėliai spragtelės, tada uždarykite dangtį.
    Patarimas

    Nežinote, ar jūsų etiketės tiesioginio terminio spausdinimo? Stipriai perbraukite spausdinamąją pusę nagu. Juoda žymė reiškia tiesioginio terminio spausdinimo etiketę, kuriai juostelės nereikia. Etiketėms, ant kurių žymė nelieka, reikia juostelės, ir jos tinka tik PC42E-T.

    Lankstinės (fanfold) etiketės įvedamos pro išorinį medžiagos tiekimo plyšį gale; tada nustatykite medžiagos laikiklius ir jutiklį, kaip aprašyta aukščiau.

    Įdėkite juostelę (tik PC42E-T)

    Juostelę naudokite tik su terminio pernešimo etiketėmis. PC42E-T tinka tik juostelės su dažų sluoksniu išorėje (ink-out): ritinyje matinė pusė su dažais nukreipta į išorę.

    1. Nustatykite juostelės įvorės jungiklį pagal savo juostelę. 0,5 col. įvorei prilaikykite juostelės sukamąją plokštelę, įspauskite jungiklį kryžminiu atsuktuvu ir pasukite prieš laikrodžio rodyklę, kad jungiklis būtų išorėje. 1 col. įvorei arba naudodami juostelės adapterį įspauskite jį ir pasukite pagal laikrodžio rodyklę, kad jis būtų viduje.
    2. Atidarykite spausdinimo ir juostelės mechanizmą dviem fiksavimo mygtukais ir nuleiskite juostelės dangtelį.
    3. 1 col. įvorei įstumkite juostelės adapterį į juostelės ritinį. Su siauromis etiketėmis įvorę centruokite ant adapterio.
    4. Įdėkite juostelės ritinį tarp galinių juostelės laikiklių taip, kad ten, kur juostelė eina pro spausdinimo galvutę, dažų pusė būtų nukreipta žemyn į etiketes.
    5. Užmaukite tuščią suvyniojimo įvorę ant juostelės adapterio. Pertraukite juostelę per spausdinimo galvutę ir pritvirtinkite jos galą prie suvyniojimo įvorės, jei reikia, lipnia juosta.
    6. Įstatykite suvyniojimo įvorę, sukite sukamąją plokštelę, kol spragtelės, ir suvyniokite laisvą juostelę, kad ji būtų lygi.
    7. Nuleiskite spausdinimo ir juostelės mechanizmą ir spauskite žemyn, kol jis užsifiksuos. Uždarykite dangtį.

    Prijunkite maitinimą ir įjunkite

    1. Patikrinkite, ar maitinimo jungiklis gale išjungtas.
    2. Prijunkite maitinimo šaltinį prie maitinimo lizdo gale, tada įkiškite maitinimo laidą į sieninį lizdą. Užsidega žalia maitinimo šaltinio lemputė.
    3. Įjunkite spausdintuvą. Kai spausdintuvas parengtas, Status lemputė nuolat šviečia žaliai; PC42E-T paleidžiant ji mirksi žaliai.

    Naudokite tik su spausdintuvu pateiktą maitinimo šaltinį. „Honeywell“ nurodo, kad kitas adapteris gali sugadinti spausdintuvą ir panaikinti garantiją.

    Sukalibruokite ir išspausdinkite bandomąją etiketę

    Prieš spausdindamas spausdintuvas turi išmatuoti jūsų etiketes. Kai spausdintuvas parengtas (Status lemputė nuolat žalia), paspauskite ir maždaug 6 sekundes palaikykite Print (PC42E-D: Print/Feed). Spausdintuvas prasuka kelias etiketes, kad sukalibruotų medžiagos jutiklį („Honeywell“ tai vadina testfeed), ir išspausdina konfigūracijos etiketę. Konfigūracijos etiketėje matyti spausdintuvo nustatymai, o prijungus prie tinklo – ir IP adresas.

    Mygtukas ECO nustato, kaip vyksta kalibravimas. Kai jis šviečia žaliai, kalibravimas greitas ir sunaudojama kuo mažiau etikečių. Kai nešviečia, kalibravimas lėtesnis ir prasukamos kelios etiketės; rinkitės šį būdą, jei spausdintuvui sunku rasti tarpus ar žymes. Išsamiau – PC42E kalibravimo vadove.

    Pastaba

    Jei mygtuką laikysite nuspaudę įjungdami spausdintuvą, jis sukalibruos, išspausdins konfigūracijos etiketę, o tada kas dvi sekundes išspausdins po vieną pavyzdinę etiketę kiekvienai spausdintuvo kalbai. Dar kartą paspaudus mygtuką pasirenkama tuo metu spausdinamoje etiketėje nurodyta kalba. Palikite numatytąjį nustatymą Autosense, nebent jūsų programai reikia fiksuotos kalbos.

    Įdiekite Windows tvarkyklę

    „Honeywell“ tvarkyklė Windows sistemai vadinasi InterDriver. Windows gali aptikti spausdintuvą pati, tačiau „Honeywell“ vis tiek nurodo įdiegti InterDriver.

    1. Atidarykite Honeywell Technical Support Downloads portalą adresu honeywell.com/PSSsoftware-downloads ir prisijunkite su „Honeywell“ paskyra.
    2. Atsisiųskite ir įdiekite Honeywell Software Download Manager.
    3. Sąraše atidarykite Software › Printers › Printer Software and Drivers › Printer Drivers › Windows Printer Drivers ir atsisiųskite tvarkyklę per Download Manager.
    4. Išskleiskite failus į aplanką ir paleiskite .exe failą, kad įdiegtumėte InterDriver.
    5. Prijunkite USB kabelį prie spausdintuvo USB įrenginio prievado, o prie kompiuterio – kai to paprašys diegimo programa.
    6. Išspausdinkite Windows bandomąjį puslapį.

    Nustatykite etiketes programoje

    Tvarkyklės spausdinimo nuostatose ir etikečių programoje nustatykite etiketės plotį ir aukštį pagal įdėtas etiketes. PC42E-T dar pasirinkite spausdinimo būdą: terminis pernešimas su juostele arba tiesioginis terminis spausdinimas be jos. „Honeywell“ gamyklinis nustatymas – terminis pernešimas ir medžiaga su tarpais. Šiuos nustatymus galite pakeisti ir spausdintuvo tinklalapyje, skiltyje Configure › Printing › Media.

    Prijunkite prie tinklo

    PC42E-D trumpajame vadove tinklo nustatymas neaprašytas, todėl šie žingsniai parengti pagal PC42E-T naudotojo vadovą. Pagal numatytuosius nustatymus spausdintuvas naudoja DHCP ir IP adresą iš jūsų tinklo gauna automatiškai.

    1. Išjunkite spausdintuvą, prijunkite tinklo kabelį prie Ethernet prievado ir įjunkite spausdintuvą.
    2. Išspausdinkite konfigūracijos etiketę (maždaug 6 sekundes palaikykite spausdinimo mygtuką). Adreso gavimas gali užtrukti apie 10 sekundžių; jei etiketėje rodoma 0.0.0.0, palaukite 10 sekundžių ir išspausdinkite dar vieną.
    3. Įveskite IP adresą naršyklėje, kad atidarytumėte spausdintuvo tinklalapį. Spustelėkite Login ir įveskite naudotojo vardą bei slaptažodį. Numatytieji prisijungimo duomenys nurodyti Honeywell PC42E-T naudotojo vadove; jei jų neturite, kreipkitės į mus. Pakeiskite slaptažodį, jei spausdintuvą jūsų tinkle gali pasiekti kiti.
    4. Norėdami nustatyti fiksuotą IP adresą, eikite į Configure › Communications › Ethernet, įveskite IPv4 nustatymus ir spustelėkite Save.
    5. Pridėdami spausdintuvą InterDriver tinklo spausdinimui, naudokite šį IP adresą.

    Wi-Fi ir Bluetooth veikia tik su pasirenkamu Wi-Fi/Bluetooth moduliu. Jį įmontavę, nustatykite tinklalapyje, skiltyje Configure › Communications › Wireless 802.11, arba „Honeywell“ konfigūravimo įrankiu PrintSet. PC42E-D valdymui „Honeywell“ nurodo PrintSet 6 ir tinklo sąsają.

    Tik terminio pernešimo etiketėms. Su tiesioginio terminio spausdinimo etiketėmis jis spausdina be juostelės; programoje arba spausdintuvo tinklalapyje nustatykite tiesioginio terminio spausdinimo būdą.

    Ar PC42E-D gali naudoti juostelę?

    Ne. PC42E-D skirtas tik tiesioginiam terminiam spausdinimui ir spausdina ant karščiui jautrių etikečių.

    Kokios Windows tvarkyklės reikia PC42E-T ar PC42E-D?

    Honeywell InterDriver, kurią rasite Honeywell Technical Support Downloads portale (honeywell.com/PSSsoftware-downloads).

    Ar PC42E-T ar PC42E-D turi Wi-Fi?
