RAM Mounts GDS Hardwire Charger, 10–30 V In / 12 V Out, Male 5.5 mm DC Plug (RAM-GDS-CHARGE-V10U) is a modular GDS hardwire charger that converts the 10–30 V DC on-board supply into a regulated 12 V DC for RAM and GDS docks with a female 5.5 mm DC power input. Its 10–30 V DC input range covers 12 V and 24 V systems, making it suitable for most cars, vans and trucks. The charger is wired to the vehicle once: a 2-pole flat marine quick-disconnect on the 1.2 m input cable lets you unplug it and fit different charger components when you change devices – without rewiring. The short 0.2 m output lead ends in a male 5.5 × 2.5 mm barrel plug that goes straight into the dock.
