Newland HR15 Wahoo Series Barcode Scanner (NLS-HR1580-BT-SD)

The Newland HR15 Wahoo is a compact, lightweight 1D handheld scanner for everyday barcode scanning at the checkout, in the stockroom and at the service desk. Its 2500-pixel CCD linear imager and Newland's UIMG decoding technology read all major 1D barcodes quickly – also from a distance, with a feel much closer to a laser scanner than a classic CCD reader. The HR15 Wahoo is available as a corded scanner for USB or RS-232 and as a cordless Bluetooth® version with charging and communication stand. Please note: the HR15 reads 1D barcodes (the corded model also reads PDF417 stacked codes) – it does not read QR codes. This version, NLS-HR1580-BT-SD, is the cordless Bluetooth kit: it is supplied with a charging and communication stand and a USB cable – ready to use, no power supply needed.

• POS stand for hands-free scanning – scan small items without picking up the scanner, then lift it off the stand for larger items – no cable in the way. Bluetooth 5.0 range up to 50 m with batch memory for ≥ 15,000 codes.
• All-day battery – the 2400 mAh battery lasts over 12 hours per charge and charges from empty in under 4 hours; IP42 sealing and 1.5 m drop resistance for daily use.

Technical Specifications

Not sure which version you need? For a PC or POS with a USB port, choose the NLS-HR1550-35 with coiled USB cable – or the NLS-HR1550-35F if you also want the foldable smart stand for hands-free scanning. For a serial RS-232 connection, the NLS-HR1550-38 includes both the RS-232 cable and the power supply, while for the NLS-HR1550-37 a 5 V power supply has to be ordered separately.
