The Newland HR12 Anchoa is a practical, user-friendly entry-level corded 1D barcode scanner at a very competitive price. Its 1500-pixel CCD sensor and Newland's 1D decoder chip read all major 1D barcodes at 300 scans per second – standard EAN-13 codes from 5 cm up to 65 cm – while drawing only 55 mA. Lightweight, IP41-rated and backed by a 5-year warranty, it is an easy choice for everyday checkout and stock work. This version, NLS-HR1250-70, is supplied with a 2 m USB cable that is permanently attached to the scanner – simply plug it into a USB port and start scanning.

Please note: the HR12 Anchoa has a fixed USB cable and no stand is offered for it – if you need hands-free scanning with a stand, an RS-232 connection or a replaceable cable, choose the Newland HR11 Aringa instead, e.g. the NLS-HR1150P-30F kit with a foldable smart stand.

- 1D CCD scanning – a 1500-pixel CCD sensor with red LED illumination reads all major 1D barcodes, including EAN/UPC, Code 128, Code 39, Interleaved 2 of 5 and GS1 DataBar. Please note: it does not read 2D codes such as QR codes or Data Matrix.
