The BIXOLON XM7-40 is a 4-inch battery-powered mobile label printer — the widest model in the XM7 range, sized for full shipping and pallet labels rather than small shelf tags. It prints where the work happens: at receiving, on the dock, in the van or on the shop floor.

The XM7-40 is MFi certified for iOS, which sets it apart from most mobile label printers. If your team runs an app on iPhones or iPads — delivery, field service, retail apps — this printer pairs and prints without workarounds. Android and Windows are supported as standard.
Which version should you choose?
All XM7-40 models print 4-inch labels at 203 dpi using direct thermal, and all include USB and RS232. The part number tells you the wireless configuration.

XM7-20, XM7-30 or XM7-40?
The XM7 range covers three print widths. The XM7-40 prints the full 4-inch width used for shipping and pallet labels; the narrower XM7-20 and XM7-30 are lighter to carry and suit shelf-edge and product labels where the extra width isn't needed.
Direct thermal print fades over time, so the XM7-40 suits shipping, picking and logistics labels rather than asset tags that must stay readable for years.
